Located on metropolitan Portland’s fringe, this property is one of the nation’s few urban national wildlife refuges. Trails lead through habitats that offer food and shelter to more than 50 mammal species and about 200 species of birds. Hikers stop at a viewing platform overlooking a wetland that attracts wading birds and waterfowl.
